John & Gary Sherlock (Master Builders) recently completed building a house for us in Te Anau. We found John to be very thorough and helpful during the early planning stages as we had no previous experience in this area. We drew up a floor plan of the house and presented it to John for his opinion, a short time later he rang to say the plan was to wide for the section so the necessary adjustments were made then the plans were passed on to the architect.

John organized the building consent then the building process began.

We had a time frame that the house needed to be completed by and the Sherlock team worked very hard to meet this deadline.

Gary was the site manager and we found him to be excellent to work with on our many visits to check on progress. Gary’s knowledge of the building industry is immense and several slight but sensible alterations were made during the building process which we were very happy with.

Gary sorted most problems without too many hassles but if he needed to he rang us for our advice. Building a new home is not always an easy process but John & Gary did everything possible to ensure that our new home building experience was stress free.

We found John & Gary Sherlock to be excellent Builders and would recommend them to anyone considering building a new home. They are both very professional in there approach and a pleasure to work with. ~The Parks
